TK Das is the President of Keppel FloaTEC and responsible for strategy, growth and profitability of the Company.
TK joined FloaTEC in 2006 as Commercial Director and was a key member of the pursuit team in winning Papa Terra P-61 TLWP and Chevron Big Foot ETLP Projects. He served as Project Leadership Team member on the Papa Terra P-61 TLWP EPCI Project from 2009-2014 and was responsible for project controls, local content, commercial, claims and change management, subcontract management, contract negotiations and financial management. He was appointed President of FloaTEC in 2014. Under his leadership, Keppel FloaTEC secured the TLWP Project for CRD Field Development in April 2017.
TK started his career as a Process Engineer and was involved in the design of various offshore topsides facilities for over 10 years. He subsequently held various commercial roles at Brown & Root, Air Products & Chemicals and ABB Lummus Global in their Floating Production Systems group in Houston before joining FloaTEC.
TK holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Leicester.
Partha Krishnaswamy is the Vice President at Keppel FloaTEC. He has the overall responsibility for the pursuits and execution of large scale detailed engineering, EPC type projects.
Mr. Partha Krishnaswamy joined Keppel FloaTEC as a Vice President in 2014 and has been instrumental in the pursuit of the CRD TLWP project for Repsol in Vietnam. Prior to joining Keppel FloaTEC, he was the Project Director representing McDermott International’s interest in the Billion Dollar Papa Terra EPCIO TLWP project for Petrobras in Brazil which was managed as a Joint venture project with Keppel FELS and McDermott as 50-50 partners.
Partha has been with McDermott for nearly 22 years in their Dubai and Houston offices, primarily in managing EPCI lumpsum projects as well as in their proposals and estimating groups. With nearly 12 years with the ETPM, a French company engaged in the offshore industry, in their fabrication and offshore division, he gained significant experience in fabrication and offshore installation.
Mr. Partha holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from M.S. University of Baroda in India and was a certified Project management professional. In the local community, he serves on the board of several cultural and social organizations in Houston.
Andrew Zhang is the Manager of Engineering and Technology Development at Keppel FloaTEC and responsible for engineering team setup and growth. He acts as the technical authority, and is also responsible for technology development including new concepts.
Andrew joined FloaTEC in 2008 as Principal Naval Architect, and has held various positions since then. He sized the Papa Terra P61 TWLP for Petrobras and the Big Foot ETLP for Chevron. Subsequently he was the Project Manager for Big Foot Hull and Mooring Following-on Engineering. He has been involved in all ETLP projects in the world, and worked in ABB and DNV before joining FloaTEC.
Andrew holds a PhD degree in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from University of California at Berkeley.
Frank is the Director of Business Development for Keppel FloaTEC and is responsible for creating and nurturing customer relationships for current and future project development.
Frank joined Keppel FloaTEC in the summer of 2017. He started his career 35 years ago in New Orleans with a Jacket and Deck Fabricator for a yard in Morgan City, LA. After 10 years, he joined a Quarters Building Fabricator to broaden his Construction experience. He was later approached by Petro Marine Engineering and stayed with them in the early 1980’s. Frank moved to Houston after Hurricane Katrina and joined a larger engineering Firm.
Frank holds a BA degree from Loyola University in New Orleans with a major in Management and a minor in Accounting.
Shaosong Zhang is the Manager of Naval Architecture at Keppel FloaTEC and the technical authority for hydrodynamics and mooring. He is currently served as the project engineering manager for Repsol CRD TLP hull, mooring and riser engineering.
Mr. Zhang joined FloaTEC in 2010 as Senior Naval Architect. He held various positions in the Billion Dollar Papa Terra EPCIO TLWP project including Lead Naval Architect, Delivery Manager for TLP+TAD mooring/hawser system and Project Engineering Manager. He also played significant role in the TLP offshore installation at Offshore Brazil. Prior joining FloaTEC, Mr. Zhang worked for INTECSEA, Aker Solutions and Versabar as the naval architect and mooring engineer. He spent most of his career time on the world class TLP and Semi projects.
Mr. Zhang holds a PhD degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor degree in Engineering Management from Tianjin University.
John Miranda is the Project Manager responsible for delivering specialized packages including Risers, Tendons and Mooring Systems, Wellbays.
Mr. Miranda joined Keppel FloaTEC as a Senior Project Engineer in 2007 and managed various concept studies, Pre-FEED and FEED works. He served as Riser Delivery Manager for the Papa Terra (P-61) TLWP in Brazil from 2010 through 2014. Currently he is assigned as Project Services Manager on the CRD TLWP Project for Repsol Vietnam.
Prior to joining FloaTEC Mr. Miranda worked as a Mechanical Lead for ExxonMobil’s PNG LNG project where he was responsible for piping, structures valves and pressure vessels. As an employee of ABB Lummus Global he was the Project Engineer responsible for the riser and tendon connector systems of the Kizomba A TLWP. After delivery he was promoted as Manager over the punch list and warranty for the Kizomba A TLWP. His experience includes subsea systems, where he worked as Lead Engineer of Structures and Manifolds, and Site Engineer for ABB Offshore Technology. During this time he developed and supervised the installation of the Marlim Subsea Manifolds in 980m water depth offshore Brazil.
Mr. Miranda holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is also retains a current BOSIET certification for offshore work.
